Art Docent Program

The purpose of this program is to help bring additional art experiences to the students. The program runs October through May.

Art Curriculum

The Fairwood PTSA provides art curriculum through Smart with Art that meet or exceeds both the Washington State Standards and the National Standards for the Art Education.  

Art Walk / Family Art Night

Our Art Walk is scheduled for the spring. Hopefully we will be able to have this! 

How it Works

Art Docents teach a classroom a monthly art lesson from October through April (~ 6 art lessons).

Please note, before you can teach in the classroom you will need to complete an online volunteer application and disclosure form.  This must be done every year.  Click HERE for more information and link to the online application process.
